take the same photo and Crop the left side so the eye is just where your sideburn is now. That will open it up and give the impression of movement. See how you like it. Try not to center your subjects. divide the pic into 3 equal parts vertically and 3 horizontally . put your hottest target point at any of these 4 spots and compare with a center shot.
You already have point 2 down well - always try to get the eyes in there.
